Life Long Ed Education Centres (a division of LLE) was created in 1998 to provide K-12 tutoring and academic preparation services to students within the K-12 education system. Individual tutoring, academic assessments, and exam preparation assistance is provided by a quality team of teachers and graduate students.
Customized Curriculum Development for Non Profit and Corporate Sector Organizations
Edcomtech consulting (a division of LLE) develops and administers skills development programs, which are designed to meet the specific needs of the individual organization’s training and recruitment mandates. As a full service consultancy, edcomtech designs develops and administers the training programs. Currently we have programs operating in Canada, the United Kingdom, China, India, Vietnam and Pakistan.
Customized Post Secondary Training Programs
Currently Life Long Ed (a division of LLE) runs several innovate post-secondary training programs.
Semester on the Rail
Was conceived and designed by the management team of LLE in 2003. Semester on the Rail gives students a chance to meet Canadians and experience the Canadian way of life. The programs add value to standard curriculum through travel immersion in Canadian culture, and real-life situations in which students can practice what they’ve learned in classroom situations.
International Construction Training
Developed by edcomtech consulting (a division of LLE) this program started in the summer of 2005. The program was designed to provide trades instruction to international students with the intention of coming to Canada to work for a Contractor. The program was developed to meet the growing need for construction workers in the BC construction industry. Students from India, the United Kingdom and Vietnam undergo the training through an accredited institution in Western Canada and are supported in their learning by Life Long Ed associates.
International Vocational consulting and orientation
Developed by Life Long Ed, International trades professionals, hospitality professionals and health care professionals are provided educational assistance in matching their credentials to Canadian standards while obtaining assistance in locating suitable employment and relocation assistance within Canada.
Life Long Ed works closely with employers in developing a human resource plan, which incorporates the recruitment of individual professionals, which match their recruitment specifications and are eligible to enter Canada to work.
Hospitality Training Program combined with GED completion.
Designed for students who have not completed high school and have an interest and vocational aptitude for working in the hospitality industry in a career related capacity. The nine-month program is designed to allow the student to complete their GED and obtain a diploma in Hospitality Operations. The goal of the program is to give the students an opportunity to enter into a career related field unfettered by the limitations associated with the lack of secondary school completion.
Music Professional Business Course
Designed to provide talented musicians an opportunity to learn how to conduct themselves as professionals and earn a living at what they do.
Specialized Performing Arts Training
Designed to provide targeted workshops for professionals within the specific fields of performing arts and be led by recognized names within the industry. Courses/workshops are of a short duration and focus on a specific component within a specific area of performing arts.
